What is the Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix?
The Formula 1 Austrian Grand Prix is a round of the FIA Formula One World Championship held at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Styria. The 4.3 km circuit in the Styrian hills has hosted F1 since 2014 (and historically since 1970 as the Österreichring). The race weekend runs Friday to Sunday, typically in late June, with practice, qualifying, support races, and the Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon.

Why book Closer for this event
Most international F1 guests fly into Vienna (VIE) and stay in the city — the Red Bull Ring has limited accommodation nearby. Closer runs the Vienna–Spielberg corridor every race weekend: airport arrivals, hotel–circuit shuttles, hospitality transfers, and evening returns, with chauffeurs on standby when sessions overrun.

Transfer from Vienna to the Red Bull Ring
The Red Bull Ring is roughly 140 km from central Vienna — typically about 1 hour 45 minutes via the A2 and S6 in normal traffic. On race Sunday we recommend leaving Vienna by 10:00 for a mid-afternoon start, earlier if you have paddock or hospitality access. Return pickups are scheduled after the chequered flag or aligned with your hospitality programme.
VIP & hospitality transport for F1 weekends
Closer coordinates multi-day movements across the Grand Prix weekend: airport arrivals, hotel–circuit shuttles, Paddock Club and hospitality suite transfers, and late returns. Chauffeurs remain on standby for schedule changes — ideal when sessions, meetings, or dinners run long.
Premium hospitality
Chauffeur service for F1 Paddock Club™ guests
Paddock Club & premium hospitality guests
F1 Paddock Club™ at the Red Bull Ring sits above the pit lane with a view of the main straight — a programme built around pit lane walks, driver talks, guided track tours, and hospitality dining. Most Paddock Club guests fly into Vienna (VIE) or stay in the city and need reliable ground transport across the full weekend: airport or hotel pickup, morning departure to Spielberg, return after sessions or dinner, and the same team on standby when schedules slip. Closer handles that layer — discreet Mercedes transfers and multi-day coordination — so your focus stays on the programme, not parking or navigation on the A2.
Hospitality passes are sold by Formula 1. Closer provides ground transport only — we are not affiliated with Formula 1 or the Paddock Club.
