How the 2026 edition went
Tens of thousands of runners took on the 2026 course from the Reichsbrücke through Vienna's landmarks, in the first edition of the new European Marathon Classics series launched at Schönbrunn Palace.
Getting around Vienna on marathon weekend
On race Sunday the Ringstrasse, Prater Hauptallee, and major arteries close in stages from early morning. We plan pickup points and timing in advance — early start-area drop-offs, hotel transfers via open corridors, and VIE airport runs scheduled around the closures.
Runner & supporter transport
Early-morning start transfers, supporter shuttles between viewing points, and comfortable post-race returns — plus expo and registration runs on Friday and Saturday.
