How the 2026 edition went
The 68th Vienna Opera Ball filled the State Opera with around 5,000 guests, opened by the young debutant couples with the traditional polonaise and waltz.
Arrivals at the Wiener Staatsoper
Central hotels are 5–15 minutes from the Opernring, but ball-night closures and drop-off protocols add time — we plan arrival windows with you in advance. Guests in gowns and white tie appreciate door-to-door service; the S-Class is the standard choice.
Ball night standby & returns
The ball officially runs until 05:00. Chauffeurs can wait on standby for the full night or return for an agreed pickup time — including onward transfers to after-parties or early flights from VIE.
