What is the Wiener Festwochen?
The Wiener Festwochen (Vienna Festival) is Vienna's international performing-arts festival, founded in 1951. Each year from mid-May to late June it presents a programme of theatre, music-theatre, opera, and installations at venues across the city — from the MuseumsQuartier and Theater an der Wien to unconventional spaces.
